Very good

Moved from Canada to France, I was alone and it was a first. They made it really smooth, great communication, answered all my questions with clear answers. Everything arrived safely and it was one less thing to stress about during my move.

Pain free move from Vancouver Canada to London UK

I took on a move from Vancouver to London in February 2023 and I am so pleased I chose Europack! The move was pain free. I have moved many times - big moves - and this was the smoothest move I have yet experienced. On both ends of the move - the workers were professional. The admin process was very clear to me and not stressful. I would highly recommend Europack for your next move.

Beware Europack aka Brytor International

I realize my complaint will be fruitless but I am angry when I see Europack (who also call themselves Brytor International) posting on their website that, according to the website complaintsboard.com there were no complaints against them as at June 2022. The public needs to be warned that this company will mishandle your goods, will not reply to emails and will ultimately take no responsibility for loss and damage to your belongings. Don't use them. Read other complaints and know they will be valid. We lost over $6K worth of goods and important documents that are irreplaceable.

This company took over 14 months to move our belongings from BC, Canada to Victoria, Australia. The original pickup was in early August, 2021 and we finally got our goods in October 2022, but missing 12 substantial items.

Naturally they blamed Covid for everything and constantly told different stories - for example we were told that our entire shipment had been packed up and sent to Montreal in January 2022 which was impossible because all roads out of Vancouver had been impassable for months due to an atmospheric river event. Google it.

They refused to sell us damage/loss insurance - stating that we could only buy total loss insurance - i.e. taking a bet that the ship would sink ... or not ... for 1.65% of the cost of the move. Their claim is that we were offered insurance but that we refused to buy it. Not true.

We had to go to the Canadian Association of Movers twice to get replies from them.

The following is the (futile) report we made after the final delivery. They responded with a letter from their "legal department" stating that we had declined insurance and, basically, bad luck.

"Unfortunately our shipment arrived very incomplete. Some notes were made on the form at the time of delivery and we are still not fully clear what is missing but at this point of time we are certain of the following 6 missing items:

- Glass dining table top x 2 pieces (2 separate pieces)

- 3 Teak outdoor dining chairs (assume this is one box as the others had three to a box)

- Box spring for Queen size mattress ensemble (we got the mattress only)

- 3 side table legs and 4 coffee table legs - we only got the glass tops for these items (probably 2 separate packages as we received one package with 3 side table legs).

Your manifest stated 223 items were being delivered, however the box numbering system (white tags) shows 236 items at minimum. We are missing the following item numbers - 16, 21, 32, 56, 60, 62, 77, 85, 88, 92, 96, 97, 101, 104, 112, 125, 137, 149, 151, 158, 161, 164, 167, 196 - a total of 24.

There were 12 items without white number tags on them.

236 - 24 + 12 = 224

So there is a net number of at least 12 items missing (more on this below) and we have identified 6 of the missing items leaving us with at least 6 unidentified missing items.

When the goods left our home in Canada each item had a yellow (not white) number tag on it so it is impossible for us to use the original manifest to work out what is missing. There were 254 yellow tags used in Canada however we had to leave 8 items behind because the 24’ long furniture van truck was full. We were very surprised when the Australian truck arrived and it had a 20’ container that was only 7/8ths full. There was a lot of space at the back of the 20’ container that the carriers had filled with packing materials for a job they were doing on their way back to Melbourne.

I believe that 10 patio chairs were consolidated in to 4 boxes in Vancouver (one of which is missing), so this reduces the known number of items that should have been delivered from 248 (less 6 for the patio chairs) to 242.

If I use the 242 number of items that left Canada and subtract the 224 items delivered then we are missing 18 items.

As you will understand this is a nightmare for us.

Please check the Dandenong warehouse as a first option for the identified items as they are valuable and we need them. To assist I am sending some photos in a separate email.

What is the claim process? Please send full details of how we need to go about this and to whom we should be speaking."

Be warned ... this is not a trustworthy company, not the sort of people you want to entrust your belongings to.

The only competent people we dealt with through this experience were the Australian movers who completed the task efficiently and professionally once our belongings arrived in Australia.

Really Professional

From the start of the process with a great explanation of the service from the customer agent person to the moving teams they were all helpful.I never waited more than a few hours for a response to an email even If I had multiple questions. My goods arrived from Canada to Spain 5 weeks later in perfect condition, they had been packed accordingly by the team in Montreal. Would recommend highly.

Vancouver to London move in 2021

We moved from Vancouver to London last October. Europack and partner companies including Brytor International have done a great job for us. Jodi Gillette and Navneet Sodhi were very helpful and answered all of our questions practically the same day. All household items were delivered neat and safe, there was no damage. Moving to Vancouver has often caused more damage than our move from Vancouver to London with Europack :) Thanks again, we will definitely ask Europack again to help us with our next move in the future. Highly recommend to anyone planning an international move.

Sincerely,

Alexander

International move from Quesnel, BC to , GER

Moving from Canada.

Pick Up date was delayed and performed with a semi truck and trailer in a rush; one part of a cabinet was left behind with no attempt to pick it up before shipment after immediate complaint; no pallets used, just loaded as found.
Shipment till arrival in Germany took 8 weeks.
Handling till arrival at my home by agent another 4 weeks after cleared by customs.
Quote on my goods with photos, list and measurements made available was kept low to get the deal and raised before delivery of my goods by another Can$ 1,400.
Never would use again and never recommend.
Still waiting to be delivered as promised on Dec. 28th 2017 with hopefully little damage.

Stay away!

They showed up 3 hours later for pick up. Promised 30 days door to door, it took 4 months. Quoted $4000, ended up paying $6,500. Once they have your shipment, they threaten you with storage fees if you don’t pay the extra charges. They know you won’t go after them because you’re now in a different country. This is how they operate, do yourself a favour and stay away. Lots of reviews only backing this up. I wish we had been warned.

Worst Experience Ever.

Not only did they delay my entire shipment BUT I told them I could not be available at the time the movers would arrive and they said it was no problem if my dad cosigned on my behalf. Forward to a month later (and a million edits of their stupid inventory list that they keep making u refill) and they are requesting my DAD’s address in the country that I moved to as they will only deliver to the cosignee!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

International Move from West Vancouver to Scotland.

EUROPACK / IMS – International Moving Company, Vancouver, Avoid This Company for obtaining quotations/awarding any contract to them and save yourselves time and Cost! WORST EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY!
If you wish to know about our nightmare experience with them, please read very carefully as follows:
“We were in a process of obtaining quotations from reputable removing Companies in Vancouver during first week in August to transfer our households from BC, Vancouver to Scotland, it was planned for towards end of August 2019. A local manager, KHALIFHA from EUROPACK promptly visited our home to provide us with their quotation. He gave us a quotation and asked us to make a booking fee of CAD 800 to confirm this case to them, which we did! From our first encounter with Khalifa, we felt something is seriously wrong and had to investigate it. Please note the following important points for your future reference:
• His name-card does not have any address for this company just a mobile number for him!
• After spending significant time reviewing their website, we also noted that their postal code of the company address, does not exist
• He alleged that apart from EUROPACK he is also representing IMS, their operational removal arm. He refused to provide us with their contract or a copy of their terms and conditions!
• We tried to call their local company in Vancouver and try to visit them before awarding our household removal to them. Somebody from IMS called EMEBED was communicating with us for scheduling and planning.
• KHALIFHA brought some empty boxes to our house for preparation of our packing. It was scheduled for packing on 21stand 23rd August then transferring to their container for transfer to the Vancouver Port.
• In the meantime, their finance department kept sending us emails asking for the balance of the payment of CAD 10,000 prior to start their job. Thereafter KHALIFHA texted us to inform that they are unable to visit our us on 21st August and will try to do everything on 23rd August which it was totally un-acceptable for us. In fact, after he received our comments, he replied to say would you like to cancel your move at such late notice!
• We concluded that EUROPACK/IMS, they are un-reliable and not trustworthy to have business with them. We had to select an alternative company at very late stage and had to pay additional CAD 3,000 to meet our timeline for transfer of household.
• We have been receiving emails and calls from EUROPACK/IMS and their representative even demanding for more money. We have written to them at numerous occasions and requested them to refund us our booking fee plus additional cost incurred to us.

It is our considered opinion that to avoid the foregoing companies in future for obtaining quotations and awarding any business to them to save yourselves lots of time and Cost!
